BACore was born from more than a decade of innovation at Bionic Ape, where we pushed the boundaries of real-time technology, simulation, backend systems, and advanced engineering.
What began as a video-game studio evolved far beyond entertainment. Over the years, our expertise in multiplayer architecture, cloud orchestration, procedural systems, AI pipelines, and real-time engines started solving problems in industries like defense, automotive, training, simulations, research, and digital twins.
As this technological branch grew, it became clear that its mission and clients required a dedicated identity—one focused not on art or games, but on systems, engineering, and applied technology. That transformation led to the creation of BACore, a company built to deliver high-complexity, real-time, and backend solutions across multiple sectors.
Today, BACore stands as the engineering heart of the original studio’s legacy, entirely focused on scalable architectures, advanced tooling, and mission-critical software.
Across 10+ years and dozens of projects, we discovered that the technologies used to build immersive worlds—real-time rendering, physics simulation, distributed systems, procedural logic, and intelligent automation—had powerful applications outside gaming.
We began creating photorealistic simulations for AI training, cloud orchestration systems for robotics and rendering, multi-user VR/XR platforms for industry, backend infrastructures for large-scale applications, and specialized Unreal-based tools for research and defense.
BACore is the culmination of that journey.
While Bionic Ape continues to focus on artistic expression—video games, music, storytelling, and visual content—BACore is entirely dedicated to engineering, architecture, and high-performance systems that support real-world operations.
We channel our expertise into custom software, consulting, co-development, and licensing of proprietary technologies, empowering organizations to solve complex problems with precision, speed, and innovation.

Javier Sevilla is a software engineer and technology entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience designing complex systems, real-time architectures, and scalable backend platforms. He founded BACore to apply game-engine and real-time technologies to enterprise, industrial, defense, and research environments, focusing on engineering, architecture, and high-performance systems. He remains hands-on in technical leadership, overseeing architecture, R&D, and the development of mission-critical solutions.

Daniel Fernández
Daniel Fernández is a Computer Science Engineer specialized in Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, and real-time systems. He holds three master’s degrees in Deep Learning, Computer Science & Interactive Systems, and Higher Education, combining strong academic foundations with practical engineering expertise. His work focuses on integrating AI models into real-time and immersive environments, developing high-performance VR/XR systems, and building scalable software solutions for complex, data-driven applications and generation of Synthetic Data.

Fran Moreno
Fran Moreno is a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience designing and maintaining backend platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable system architectures for complex, mission-critical environments. He has played a key role in projects for the defense industry, delivering robust, secure, and performance-oriented solutions. With a strong engineering mindset, Fran specializes in distributed systems, automation, and infrastructure reliability, bridging low-level implementation with high-level architectural design to ensure resilient and maintainable platforms.

Albert Julià
Albert is a 3D Technical Artist specialized in creating photorealistic environments and assets for simulation, AI training, and data-generation pipelines. His work includes the development of detailed 3D models, biome recreation, and environment composition optimized for real-time rendering, synthetic data extraction, and large-scale simulations. He contributes to projects across defense, automotive, industrial, research, and training sectors, ensuring visual accuracy and performance for applications such as digital twins, deep-learning datasets, and immersive simulation platforms.

Juan Francisco Ramírez Aguilera
Juanfran plays a key role in analyzing client needs and translating complex requirements into clear, actionable system specifications. He works at the intersection of stakeholders, engineering, and implementation, ensuring that technical solutions align precisely with project goals and operational constraints. With a strong analytical mindset and experience across complex interactive systems, Juanfran helps structure workflows, define system behavior, and guide development from concept to delivery—bridging vision and execution across multidisciplinary projects.

Arturo Javier Loza contributes to visualization, animation, and 3D content pipelines for simulation, XR, and real-time technical environments. With a strong foundation in 3D modeling, animation, and digital production workflows, he supports the creation of accurate and performant visual assets used in training, simulation, and interactive systems. His understanding of the full production pipeline—from concept to delivery—allows him to integrate visual components efficiently within multidisciplinary, engineering-driven projects, making him a valuable asset in complex technical environments.

Alicia is a 3D Visualization and Animation Specialist with experience creating animated assets, environments, and visual components for real-time and simulation-based systems.
